Know Your Rights Slides

Here are several of the slides from the “Know Your Rights” presentation that I designed during my internship with The City of Grand Rapids. The Office of Oversight and Public Accountability uses these presentations to educate the public on how to interact with police officers.

Lunch and Learn Flyer

I created a flyer that told people about a Refugee Lunch and Learn that the Offices of Oversight and Public Accountability and Equity and Engagement were hosting. I wanted to make the flyer engaging to get people to sign up so I did that by adding circles and using the color red from the Grand Rapids Calder Statue.

Social Media Posts

I created Facebook posts for the Office of Equity and Engagement to post during the month of July. I chose to include little excerpts to help inform the viewer on what is being celebrated. To make the posts stand out, I included digital illustrations that I drew and vibrant colors.
